National conference on the review and update of the preliminary flood risk assessment “Where are we at risk of floods?”

The Polish Water Holding Polish Waters invites to the national conference “Where are we at risk of floods? Review and update of the preliminary flood risk assessment”.
The conference will be held on August 30, at 11:00-16:00, at the PGE National Stadium in Warsaw, Amsterdam room.
The preliminary flood risk assessment is the first of four planning documents required in the six-year planning cycle defined by Directive 2007/60/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 23 October 2007 on the assessment and management of flood risks (Food Directive). The goal of the conference is to inform local administration bodies and national administration bodies about the results of the review and update of the preliminary flood risk assessment, competent for making WORP opinions in accordance with art. 169 paragraph 3 of the Water Law.
The conference is co-financed by the European Union from the Cohesion Fund under the Operational Program Infrastructure and Environment 2014-2020.
